Got around to using my new @uglybooksofficial while I was traveling back home!! Honestly they hold up great I’m beyond impressed. I was using water, soluble, wax, pastels, and paint markers and never had any problems with paper ripping! My water pen littteraly exploded all over one of these pages on the plane and, nothing happened LOL
Some stops on the T in Boston. I missed that city
Also some little paintings.

There is a bit of cleanup I can do to this bad boy, but I’m proud of it! 10 weeks spent creating this animation, 6 of those spent learning 2D puppet rigging! I’m happy with my end product and I would LOVE to do more of this.

Decided to wake up and paint today.
I think now more than ever it’s time to make art for myself. I know what I know, and I want to share it with you.

So I have been doing a lot of animation practice, and I’m really proud of my improvement! I look at my skills from a year or so ago, and i had passion! But I lacked consistency! While I’m nowhere near perfect, I am really proud of the work I have been completing, so here is a rough animation I made this week! I will be inking and coloring soon, so don’t you worry more soon !!

A poem I wrote over the past few months about being alive

transcript of# poem below!

To find it beautiful is interesting — the mundane.
A bike, leaned where it was last used.
Water damage, a testament of time.
Why is it beautiful?
Is it because I didn’t see it happen?
Only because I didnt live it?
I project myself into this life — one I did not live,
and, I live it for just a moment — and then it’s over
with me now but never a part of my life.
“oh I am rich” I exclaim!
But at the end of the day my head hurts.
stress is stress is stress.
i do love this.

When the end of each day approaches,
I feel a weight — it clings to me.
It hooks its claws into the front of my eyebrows – and it pulls
It wants to bother me
It wants me to think about it
It needs me
It is me

Not only have I learned a new program (Storyboard Pro), but I also completed my first like, whole storyboard! 2:45 of boards! I also timed them to some sound. These are the first go at my idea for my thesis film, I am almost certain this will change within the next 5 weeks! It's called Preen. I had a lot of fun designing this Fire Horse for @riso_pop's open call! It was def a challenge to learn how to even design for a riso, and then applying those rules to my style was a whole new game. I had a lot of fun though and i love how it came out!
